Transport: Trams 4 and 6 stop in front of the house. Metros 2 3. and 4. are at 5' walk, trolley and bus stops at 2' walk. Nightbus stops in front of the house.
From Keleti Railway Station take metro number 2 until Blaha Lujza station, then trams 4 or 6 direction Petöfi Híd( Móricz Zsigmond tér) untill HARMICKETTESEK TERE Station which is the second stop. Or take metro number 4 to Rákóczi tér stop, walk from here until József Körút 47.

If you want to come to Budapest centre by public transport from the airport take bus number 200 from outside the airport to the end of bus line, which is called ”Kőbánya-Kispest”. Then take the ‘blue’ Metro line (line 3) from Kőbánya-Kispest to ”Corvin Sétány Station”. Next, take tram 4/6 until you arrive at ”Harminckettesek tere” tram stop. The cost of one ticket for each ride is the same - approximately 1.60 EUR. You will need 3 tickets/person. It will take about 1h 15 - 1h 30 to get to the apartments from the airport this way.
If you prefer, I can come to pick you up by car at the airport. Just let me have the details of your flight and let me know which terminal you will land at (A or B). Coming into the city by car takes about 20-25 minutes.
The apartment is situated in a nice neighborhood in the center of Budapest in a historical building from 1898, recently renewed.

You are in a 5'-10' walking distance from: Museum of Applied Arts, National Museum of Hungary, the famous walking street Ráday utca full of coffee places and restaurants, the Danube, the Corvinus University, the Market, Váci Utca.

Metro stations CORVIN SÉTÁNY, KÁLVIN TÉR, RÁKÓCZI TÉR and BLAHA LUJZA TÉR are just 2-5' walk.
Other attractions like Liszt Ferenc Academy, the Parliament, Opera House, St.Stephan Basilica, City Park are easily accessible by public transport.
